Adolescence is a time when kids make big leaps in social, emotional, cognitive and moral development (not to mention risky behavior). This can leave parents scrambling just to keep up, let alone providing the necessary guidance and direction.
Dr. Wellborn will be making a VIRTUAL presentation reviewing important aspects of adolescent development and behavior to help parents of 9th graders stay ahead of their teen as they careen through the high school years. He will also provide a parenting framework that encourages both independence and responsibility while parents shepherd their kids through the teenage years.
